In the province of Ontario, fees for a Registered Psychotherapist or Licensed Psychologists are not covered by OHIP. However, may benefit packages provider through employers do have coverage for one or both. For those requiring a Licensed Psychologist, I do work under the supervision of Dr. Sara Aharon from Body Mind Health.
The standard fee for a 1-hour session is $200-$250 including 13% GST
(Effective February 1, 2018).
I do have a sliding fee scale for those with limited financial resources (e.g. those who do not have coverage, have limited coverage, students, seniors… etc). If you require a discounted fee, you must contact me to request it prior to your first session. There are a limited number of clients that I can carry at a discounted rate and at times, I have no discounted slots available. For this reason, I keep a list of the clients that I am seeing and when a discounted slot comes open, I offer it up to the first person on the list requiring one. As such, I am not always able to offer a discounted slot to new clients from the very first session.
